Gun jammed on 2nd firing

Postby RealHoney » Mon Jan 02, 2012 6:40 pm

I have a brand new COBRA .380 ACP and decided to fire it for the first time on New Years, it fired great the first shot and as I tried to fire the second time, it jammed. How can I unjam my gun. I can not even remove the magazine.

The Cobra .380 is a $100. pistol.... retail. Remove the firing pin and you will have a nice looking, but overly heavy paperweight.
It is not worth repairing.

That was harsh Go but no truer words were ever spoken. I would take it back and trade up to a High Point ( I know there ugly and heavy but they do work well for the money) . If you can't afford a more expensive handgun that's what I would do. Oh hi GO.

Hey Judge, its been awhile.
The Hi-Points do make a decent pistol, for the price (who needs pretty?).
For a super concealable .380, I'd go with the 8 oz, 6+1, Kel-Tec, or the Ruger LCP, about $250.
The heavier steel frame Bersa .380acp is a good shooter, for a budget, too.
