New guy on the block! Was wondering if ya'll knew where I could find local state gun laws? Basically what types are not permitted, that kinda thing. Thanks!

Is there some website that also shows what types are legal/not? For example, I really want an AR-15 (Bushmaster type). Thanks

An AR-15 is an AR-15, brand makes no difference as far as those politicians are concerend. Full auto and single shot is a different story, but unless you have an FFL you wont be able to get an auto. Most of the time you can do a google search of the city you live in about their specific gun laws and come up with alot of usefull information.

i believe you need a class 3 lic. for full auto.

yes, ffl3 allows you to have fully auto firearms. But I think there is a different ffl that allows you to have fully auto collectors/relic guns so I used ffl as a general term. Sorry if I was misleading

Bud you can get an AR-15 in Texas they sell them at the gunrange here in the Houston area, 'less your town or city has an ordinance against them i doubt it though.
