Obama's changed his mind!

Until now he was adamant that he would be sworn in on the Koran. Now, for some reason, he has decided to be sworn in using Abraham Lincoln's personal Bible. I still don't care for the man or his policies but he has at least made one intelligent decision.

Swearing in on Honest Abe's bible doesn't mean crap! As far as I'm concerned Abe was a liberal too!

I've been slowly stocking up on ammo, guns and liquor. I found this site after googling for info and feedback on my newly aquired handguns.

I have read some views and opinions that I agree with here. Look forward to spending some time.

BTW, Ted Nugent should run for Prez. and Ronald Reagan was and always be in my eyes, the best President I've seen in my lifetime!

(on edit) I removed the part about me beliefs of Abe Lincloln.

Although I do think having a toy cabin building set named after him was one of his greatest acomplishments!

Why is that an intelligent decision?? I didn't realize that it was such a difficult idea to understand. My point is that our new Prez elect demanded that the press not use his middle name, "Hussein", because he felt that it would lead people to believe he was of the Muslim faith. He has always denied that and is sticking to it. What I found hard to understand was why he said that he wanted to be sworn in on the Koran, the Muslim Bible. Why would you insist on something like that if it isn't part of your religious belief? His father was a Muslim and his mom a Christian. His dad was also a Kenyan citizen, which actually disqualifies Obama from the presidency. He isn't a natural born citizen. Both parents are supposed to be born American citizens. Why did the electoral officials allow this to slip by? Because they're allowing a socialist take over of the country, that's why IMO. So Kyle, to answer your question, I feel that he made an intelligent decision (choice) simply because I think that he was lying to everyone listening to that line of BS. Why would you demand to swear in on a religious document that doesn't represent your faith? It had the appearance of deception right out of the gate! Hopefully that explains my statement.

Bonecrusher, it is what it is. Why does a 24 hour period make such a difference? Several thousand of us had to go through it and we're still kicking. As for the rest of your commentary, I'd rather not see you using the racial slurs. If I could edit your post, I might just do that. But I can't. I can remove it, but I won't. What I will do is ask you to not post those types of comments again. You're welcome to edit your own post and remove the offending remarks if you'd like. It would be the right thing to do. We do allow a bit more freedom of speech here but we still have rules regarding conduct and appreciate member cooperation. Thanks...

As for the racial slurs, I'm sorry, but I'm not at all POLITICALLY CORRECT! I posted what I did and will leave it. I'll try to me more controlled next time.

Political correctness has gotten us where we are today. Don't ya love it? Don't want to hurt someones feelings. All the crybabies should shut up and suck it up. In the end it will still be survival of the fittest. Those with thin skin will get trampled beneath the feet of the REAL men as they storm the walls to defend their families and loved ones!
