I think I'll stick to my powder guns! I kinda like the bang that goes along with the bullet. Thats why I'm not into bow hunting.... Allthough I do have a crossbow that I've used about 3 times in 10 years~ lol

I think I've pretty well erradicated the groundhawg population at my house, I havent seen one in weeks!!!

I did however see a coyote,

Oh damn another thing to hunt lol... Those bastards are elusive though at least during the day, looks like it might be time to invest in another night scope!

But then there's the question of what rifle to put it on, oh decisions, decisions......

I guess you begin with the type of action you're interested in, bolt, semi auto or lever action. There are some very nice new bolt actions available now. I like the looks of the new Thompson Center 30 and the new .338 is pretty awesome too. Never forget the formidable and popular .308 either. The AR 10 in 308 would be a great addition to the popular black rifle line!! Such a hard decision you have to make, I really sorry for you...LOL!!

Belt you ever thought of a old meat to draw the coyote out? and 270 in a Remi 700 is a good caliber i've shot one they give you bang for your buck or you could go all the way and git the 7mm mag

If you're looking for a nice predator round and rifle that will match well with your AR is the Rem 700 in .223. If you do any of your own reloading, you're ahead of the game already. Don't you use your Colt for your dawg shooting? A 700 is a nice rifle in any caliber.

That .338 is an awesome caliber. But if you're going to use it on dawgs, you might have to rename it the "Groundhawg Juicer". That's about all you'd have left!
