This is an excellent little pistol for the money, mine has 2,000 rds plus ran through it so far without a hitch. The gun can be a little ammo sensitive as with any brand so I suggest polishing the feed ramp with 400 and then 600 grit sand paper. Buy the 12 rd mags! These are an excellent addition and will let you send 5,000 ft lbs of pressure down range...

Hi all I have recently purchased the PF-9 and the 3AT for carry but I am looking for a range gun to take my CPL I hurd the PF-9 is not a good range gun and for the class I also hurd that you have to shoot 100-150 rounds so I am up in the air for this and the Taurus 24/7 Pro any input would be great

I bought a heavily worn Kel-Tec P11 at a pawn shop. Before I ever shot it I replaced the polymer recoil spring guide rod with a steel one, added a trigger shoe to make it more comfy and wider, replaced the terribly worn recoil guide rod springs, and polished the feed ramp a bit with 400 and then 600 grit sand paper...... Took it to the range and to this day 400 rounds later.... not a single hitch.

I did almost the same as gun nut minus the guide rod and it goes like hell. I mostly use this as my carry pistol because of the 10 Rnds and size

I have had no problems with my M&P 40c to date. About 2500rds through and not one malfunction. It has a much better action than the Glock-22 I'm forced to carry at work. The M&P Chugs, Chugs Chugs while the Glock is more snappy.

Anyway, I found a new Keltec P-11 at a gunshow recently. It is the hardened chrome slide with a black lower. I decided to buy it because it was selling for $250 new.

I polished the feed ramp with a dremel tool before initial firing. I also put on the belt clip. I tried to install the metal guide-rod like gun-nut21 but the gun won't reasemble properly with it installed. It keeps slipping during re-assembly and the slide will not return fully. Anyway, I put the poly guiderod back in and it runs like a champ.

I do recommend 115gr ammo both ball and HP. It won't chamber the 147gr Golden Sabers I bought. Can't even get it to feed the initial round from the mag. But, with the 115gr Magtech HPs I use, it has functioned flawlessly. Now I carry it when the M&P seems too heavy or to buldgey. With a 12rd, flush-fitting mag; thats 13rds of 9mm +P in a gun smaller than a Walther P38.

I would like to buy a used p-11 at my local range (not a loaner) They are asking 200.00. I know they range in price from 260-350 new but I have yet to see one used for sale. does this sound reasonable ? It looks to be in good shape slide shows no holster ware or any scratches, polymer grip has a little ware towards bottom. I hope someone could give me some input.

Heynow1, I believe that is a great price for the P11. From all I've seen, you can't go wrong with that price if it functions. Go ahead and get it, if you decide you don't like, you won't have any trouble getting your money back.

I've only heard positives about kel-tec. I sold my JA-9 and was thinking of the p-11 to be my new 9mm. Thanks !

I just purchased my second P11 and I have to say so far I love it. Back when I was younger my dad bought me one and we let my younger sister shoot it and she dropped it, after that nothing but miss fires and jams. I sold it and five years later I got me another one, I was looking for a easily concealable gun and I found it. I bought the grip extension for it and a shoulder holster and I'm looking into the in the pants holster real soon. The double action trigger seems like it bothers a lot of people but once you get use to it, then it doesn't seem to make a huge difference. Over all the P11 is the best bang for your buck I THINK. Anyone have any remarks on the ARMALASER for the P11 good or bad?
