CZ 97 Reviews

I just go my CZ97B, and took it to the Range The Gun is just great I Used several type ammos no Jam! even with the trickies ammo you can used in a gun the Full Metal Clean-Cutting Match ammo (exemple My Xd.45 jams with this ammo all the time) the CZ basic eat and spit it all!

The shooting you can group one after another in the X great gun I am very happy to have it.

Cleaning is easy after couple times you doing it (I am using Prolix total gun care oil for cleaning and Gun Butter since I am testing this two oil they are exelente but I got also check and see wich one will work better for me)

I dont like the way the magazine is design to get stock and not drop well that is easy to fix but if there is a need of quick change I can se it becoming a problem.

I also change the plastic spring for the metal one, and the recoil spring for a 18 lbs one.( I am confidente the plastic spring will not break but I did anyways)

The Manual book is very nice and well detail explanations, I am very happy with the CZ and is a well worth the money pistol to buy.

97 B is simply amazing!! They are coming out with the 97 BD, the decocker version, in January 2008. Very accurate and little recoil.

From the way the post is worded, I think maybe the plastic spring is in the magazine?

Believe that the original poster is referring to the recoil spring guide, which is indeed made of plastic. Most folks want to replace it with a metallic version, if for no other reason than aesthetics.

Thanks BBill, that sounds MUCH better than a dang plastic SPRING.
