Well, I finally got a chance to take my new 75BD POLICE to the range last night and I'm impressed.Accurate with no malfunctions. 250 rounds Sellier & Bellot 115 FMJ and Winchester 115-124 GR FMJ

Overall, the pistol shot well

I am very, very pleased.

I love my CZ-75BD POLICE !

Hey guys it's SamFisher here (I had to create a new account on here), and I thought I would give you all a little update on my CZ 75B that I bought back in April of this year.

Well, after four months of waiting for the right time, I finally got to try out my new CZ 75B. I was surprised at how high the recoil was on the pistol, but I still found it to be a tack driver for me. I ended up firing about 250 rounds out of it with Sellier & Bellot 115 grs 9mm ammunition.

The only problem I had was that somewhere around 125-150 I had one casing that failed to eject/extract from the chamber. Other than that it was smooth as butter. However, that one casing that failed to eject/extract out of the chamber still bothers me. I hope it was the ammunition and not the pistol that caused the problem.

Is one fail to eject/extract a problem in the first 250 rounds used out of my pistol? Furthermore, does that diminish the chance of it being a good CCW? Anyway, I thought I would give a little range report on my new pistol. I plan on shooting it next week too, and will probably update with further info on how it is going.

Well, I went to the range this morning and fired another 250+ rounds out of my new CZ 75B. Everything turned out well until the last 200-250 when I had two consecutive misfires with my pistol. While I think the misfires are due to my own failure of improper magazine loading, I am concerned that it happened.

That is three errors now that my CZ has suffered from in the past two weeks out of 500+ rounds. One fail to eject and two misfires. This really bothers me a lot for a pistol that is supposed to have such a sterling reputation. Do you guys have any suggestions on what might be the causes or what I can do to fix it?

make sure the gun is cleaned and lubricated according to owners manual and switch from S&B-I had that stuff fail in my 1911 and a sig 220 (all 45 cal). have over 500 rds through my 75b and 97 without ANY problems.

The CZ 75 is a good as gun as you can get: dependable, accurate and made for a lifetime. I tried them all and this gun is as good as pistols costing twice as much. Over 1,000 rounds without a failure. My wife has a CZ527 carbine and her comments would echo mine. So for the most BANG for your buck, you can not go wrong with CZ.
