I have a Springfield Micro, bought it less than a year ago. It fired flawlessly. I took it to the range once, then I took it to have a new finish applied to it. It now has a brushed chrome finish with faux ivory grips. I still have the original black rubber grips as well. I decided it wasn't the gun for me and I've been trying to sell it. So far no takers. I wish I'd come to this realization before I invested about $900 in it.

I got the tomcat 32 the other day. I went to the range today and fired 3 clips of ammo in it. After 3 shots I had a missfeed. Cleared it easy and had no more problems after that. It was very accurate too for its size.

Since summer is comming soon, I'm going to be carrying my Tomcat more often. I have a question for the more experienced and knowledgible folks.

What is the best ammunition to load for defense in a .32 Auto?

Try CCI Gold Dot 60 grain Jacketed Hollow Points or the Federal Hydrashock Jacketed Hollow Points.

I use the CCI Gold Dot 60 grain Jacketed Hollow Points. I have now put over a 1000+ rounds through my TomCat using all kinds of different ammo and still not a single misfire or misfeed. This gun is great, or maybe I got a lucky one.

I prefer the tried and true Hydrashoks. Can't beat a proven winner. But I also prefer to stagger my magazines with hollowpoint and hardball, that way you have a flavor for every occasion.

Appreciate the feedback. I do load the Hydrashocks when I carry the Tomcat. Was just wondering if maybe there was another round, which I'd not heard of, that might be better. I usually fire at least one clip of the rounds I carry when I'm at the range. The hollowpoints are so expensive that I can't afford to shoot too many of them, though.
