It was supposed to say, FALLING off. Any way the gun was verry accurate and fun to shoot, but with out a warrenty Sunshyne, I didnt want to trust it. Treid to reply to your message on the Taurus side but the electronic gods wouldnt let me! And as far as how I feel, went out and plunked down $300.00 deposit on a Sig Sauer 229 40 cal. S&W, they have a life time warrenty also........Have fun shoootin.......

Very cool gunnutz! Let me know how you like it when you get it. Bummer about the Tomcats slide. Hope i have better luck. I am hoping to get it out to the range soon. Hope the new models have solved some of these problems I really like that little gun!

My wife has a Tomcat that I purchased new for her for Christmas 2006. Weve had it to the range three or four times since then and have never had a problem of ANY kind. Weve shot perhaps 500 rounds through it without a hitch. In fact, my wife is more accurate with the Tomcat than she is with her S&W 38 with laser sight- probably because of the Tomcats single action mode- great little gun!

Has anyone had any trigger work done to make the pull smoother?

I think I may have figured out why Im having the jamming problems with this gun. I think its me. Not the gun. My hands are pretty big, and this little pistol has never been a good fit. Thus it bucks in my hand pretty good if Im not paying attention to my grip. Seems like thats when I have the jamming issues too. I guess if I was not such a hard head, Id have figured that out long before now.... Im still not completely convinced, but it seems that might be it.

Well radio my hands are teeny tiny so i'll let you know how it goes for me when I get to try it out. Still havent had a chance to get out yet. Hey what do you and Gunnutz think of the Springfield 1911 micro compact? I was thinking about it for my next purchase in the .45 variety. I dont have a .45 yet and I just love those smaller guns.

Or what about the Kimber Ultra Carry? It is almost the identical gun as the Springfield.

I think its a great gun, I have a High Standard 1911 full size and a new Rock Island 1911 with 3.5" barrel, I like that also... In addition Sunshyne I took my Sig 229 40 S&W custom out of layaway the oyher day. Shot 50 rounds with it PERFECT! Talk about big hands, I had to sell My Bersa Thunder 40 S&W, because it has a slide release on the rt. and lft. sides. I had to be real careful how I held it because the top of my index finge would brush the slide release and a failure to feed would occure. I liked the gun, and it shot very well, it's what I traded on the Sig.......happy shoootin! I'm not called Gunnutz for nuttin....
