So I traded in my Taurus PT-1911 for a Glock 21. Mainly for tactical reasons. I had no problems with the Taurus. I am satisfied with my decision.

I just purchased a Glock 21sf with the standard Glock front rail, single magazine release and night sights. I couldn't be happier. Took it to the range and recoil was managable with little muzzle flip for easy follow up shots. Every round fed perfectly and went bang when I pulled the trigger. I'm not a competetion quality shooter yet but I shot some excellent groups at 21 and 30 feet, this gun is accurate and easy to handle. I had traded my Glock 19 for an M&P 40 and love the M&P as well but the trigger on this new 21sf is much better than the one on my 19. The gun fits my hand perfectly and pulls up naturally on target easily. I'd recommend the Glock 21SF to anyone looking for a 45 caliber handgun.

I have the G21 w/night sights as my duty weapon with my department and I consider it a very good gun. I probably have over 1200 rounds through it in almost 2 years and I haven't had any major problems with it. The only issues I have had are the finish on the slide is turning to bare metal and my last qualification I must have placed the mag in too hard when reloading and the slide when forward automatically and caused a jam, so i had to re-rack. Now I think I'm to blame but I didn't feel I reloaded that mag too hard but I still feel that shouldn't happen too easily. Anyway the G21 is good because of its low maintenance and how I'm not afraid to be out in the rain getting it wet because at the end of the shift all I have to do is wipe it down and put 6 drops of lube and I'm good to go.

I own a Glock 21SF. Great gun, it was my first .45. Very accurate, feels good in the hand, and it's very easy to handle and maintain. I have several hundred rounds through it, of all kinds of ammo including hollow point. Never a jam or misfeed. Recoil is not overwhelming, like my S&W featherweight .38 revolver.

Everybody should have at least one Glock in their collection. They are an excellent value and might save your life someday.

I recently traded a finicky and low cost 1911 for my new Glock 21 w/ tritium night sights. Best trade up I've ever had in 30yrs of gun buying/shooting. 500 rounds right out of the box w/o any hiccups. At 35ft. it was on center bullseye and shot pretty much where ever I aimed. Go glock !! now I'm looking at a model 34 for competition......
