I've had nothing but great luck with this gun. One FTF in hundreds of rounds at the range. Anyone know where I can find a .45 Astra. Love the 9mm

david i beleive the recoil guide spring for astra is shorter than the one for the sig.aastra100 if your still looking for astra a100 there's one on gunbroker.com with two mags for only 399.00 and it looked in pretty good shape.there is also an a80 in 9mm thats stainless very nice looking.only 375.00.also david most holsters for the sig 220 will fit your astra since thats the same basic shape and size.

Help! I have an A100 that I love- have run thousands of rounds thru her without a problem, but my guide spring is tired- needs to be replaced, and I can't find a guide rod and spring assembly anywhere. Can anybody tell me where I can get these parts? Thanks!

p.s. It's a great shooting gun!

A-100 Parts are available directly from EAA here:

_http://www.eaacorp.com/diagrams-a100lg.html

At one point in the 1990's all A-110 spare parts were sold to a company called guntek -I can't find them so I'm guessing they probably sold them back again.

The extractor is $24.

The recoil spring kit is $15 and is a Much thicker spring material and the guide rod is black. The gun feels nice and tight again. My old spring functioned perfectly and but was weaker and easier for a woman to operate

I have not test fired it with the new spring and rod kit yet .

I am looking for nice rubber grips. I found some in Spain for $56 ( he had wooden too) but new in the box 9mm A-100 can be found for $289 or even less if you really look ( a bunch of .45s too I even saw one in stainless) therefore, it hardly seems worthwhile. Anyone else had luck finding non-plastic grips?

The under $10 hogue slip on with finger grooves and palm swells is worth every penny until then.
