ruger p94 40 cal

I just bought a p94 used for 250 bucks . Really like it but it seems to be stuck in double action. Fired about 150 rounds and after every shot I had to pull the trigger twice . My first pistol. I was told to send it to ruger. Wondering if anyone has had this prob or has delt with ruger before?
