Where did \"Messages\" go.

The new format seems to have misplaxed "Messages"

Or is it just me. Senility is a bitch!

They're under "my profile" now, After you click that your "messages" link will be on the left side near the middle of the page under the "edit profile" button.

The only was I can get to private messages is to click on "Ask the Webmaster", then Private Messages shows up on the left, but when you click on it all it does is send me to "My Profile. I have an email that I was sent a private message but it is nowhere to be found.

Don't you have a link just to the left of "Ask the Webmaster" that says "My Profile"? Clicking My Profile opens a page with all your ID information, etc., and on the left side, underneath your name and avatar is where your private messages are posted. When you've read the message and close it, it goes into an archive, if you actually delete it, it goes away for good.

Tex, I checked your profile page and it looks fine to me. I can't see your private message section but the rest of your page is set up. I noticed that you have two ID's, one all upper case and one with lower case letters. Have you checked the other one? You may only get your PM's on one and not the other. Just an idea!

I sent a test message to you. If you don't have any messages that section may not be visible. It should be now.

Working ok with all caps. Will log off and back on with lower case.

You de man, man. Everything now works, even got it to take my address. Do I still have to eat worms?

System works with both upper and lower case.

Can you delete the lower case log-on?

No, I can't delete it. If I tried to deactivate that account I might very well deactivate your entire account (both). I suggest using the upper case account since it seems to work well for you. Use the lower case for a back up. Problems occurred often enough in the past that having a secondary account was a good idea. So far things have been working very well, actually the best in recent memory! Let me know how things go and I'll keep my fingers crossed, lol!!
