Vandalia Range and Armory( I was here visiting friends and am white) that said.. the two gals behind the counter one named Jennifer J the other ? .

We selected our targets which were white and the comment from one to the other gals was " Everybody is choosing the white targets today must be shooting white people"

WHAT??

We were all white, so we go in to shoot and gee people of color ARE there. Nice.

Plus this place is lax at checking ANY ID, overall not a great time and it started with the front desk.

If they want my friends to come back I strongly suggest they SHUT up about opinions.

Just rude and gives Ohio the reputation the rest of the county thinks it has.

Sad.

Other than that I find Ohio to be cold(weather wise) and most of the people are very nice.

Your profile says California but you made a comment about Ohio. Where did you experience this? I'm not sure that their intent was necessarily racist. More of an observation. I'm sure those sales clerks field remarks all day long from people buying targets. I don't think they were doing anything more than sharing a comment they hear all day. People say things all the time that perhaps they shouldn't, but in the big scheme of things, I think this wasn't meant to hurt anyone.

Rather unusual for a Californian to be bashing on Ohio, then again it was about firearms......... And we all know Cali's general consensus regarding that!

Just messin with ya youwontbelievethis, some of the ranges are questionable no matter where you go but I rather like when a place is relaxed, I don't particularly enjoy showing my id to everyone and their brother.

Just would like to set this straight, Jennifer is my wife and I can assure everyone we are not racist. As far as I am concerned you can stay in kalifornia and keep your liberal mindset away from ohio, we dont need people like you around here. I am pretty sure you were probably just offended by the fox news station we always have playing in the shop and this was the best you could come up with to bash us, nice try.
