looking for more long ranges in illinois thanks

i live in central illinois looking for more longer ranges just to shoot and practice

I am now in KANSAS and have to drive about 50 miles to the nearest 100 yard outdoor range and it is closed much of the winter due to budget cuts.
It has a dozen picnic tables with metal frames to hang targets on [not a big expense].
I was there for 3 hours last year and was told [on the way home] there was an attendant there ... I never noticed.
It is odd there are no other ranges since KANSAS has a surplus of 'nowhere'. A location for a 500 yard range could be 10 minutes from any downtown Metropolis in this desolate State.
Maybe I will get to know one of the farmers around here.
