Does anybody have any experience with this pistol? It looks like a good CCW albeit ugly and Glock lookin.

I cant tell you anything about it until I read an article I just found about it in a 1995 issue of American Rifleman magazine.

I didnt know they were making Sigma series guns in the mid 90s until I saw it on the cover. It certainly doesnt make THE UGLIEST HANDGUNS thread...

Just curious, did you buy one of these or did you see one in a magazine. Ive never seen one except in a magazine. This gun retailed for $308 new, according to the article. It shares a polymer frame like the sigma 9mm and 40ves respectively. The slide is made out of Zamak, a material thats heavier than metal or steel but with a shorter life.

It has a trigger safety like Glocks, groove sights and like the AMT I have it takes both hands to drop the clip out of the gun. Thats because the clip has pinch catches on both sides.

The author went on to conclude that theS&W .380 is a decent CCW pistol with a no snag construction. Disassembly is described as unusual.

CORRECTION: Zamak is heavier than aluminum, not metal or steel like I wrote before...

I had one a several years ago (2002/03).... I was not very impressed w/ this pistol. It is a polymer frame, w/ 3 barrel. Personally, i like the Bersa much better. New, the MSR is around $360.00 now. If memory serves me right, I sold mine for around 275.00 in 2006. I would purchase a Bersa but thats just my opinion. Later, Nohub
