The Bersa line of guns are second to none on dependability. I have had a 380 going on three years. Many rounds through it, and not a single blip.

Yes, the barrel is fixed, but the recoil is very manageable.

Also, very easy to clean. I think Bersa is now giving two magazines w/each gun.

excellent! I would def like to purchase the thunder. it looks pretty cool. Do you guys know if it'd be good for an active guy? I run alot and I am always on the go. So it'd be on my all day. Open carry or concealed doesn't matter, I'm into being intimidating :)

Henry, with all due respect, don't be. It doesn't serve any beneficial purpose. If you want to support the right to keep and bear arms, you need to be wise in your decisions. Intimidating people with a firearm isn't one of them.

tig, with all due respect, being intimidating is 80% of the fight.

If your in a bar wearing flip flops and some guy squeezes your girls ass, what are you going to do? say "stop it or I'll throw my flip flop at you?" or "lets take this outside" *flip, flop, flip, flop, flip, flop* - real good image don't you think?

Or do you wanna walk up to him staring him in the eye and deck him with a 90degree hit to the jaw? which sounds like he'll win? you can pick.

I'm not saying pull it out and show everyone. I'm sayin this - be respectful to people in public. Here are some examples...

when granny walks up to get a cart at wal-mart, and your getting a cart out, why don't you get it out for her? or let people jump in front of you to order their lunch when they appear to be in a hurry. Open doors for people. blah blah blah. Just be respectful and nice - it shows a good deal of respect.

People need to see a positive impact with gun ownership...

I meant by intimidating is by having it at your side where people can see. not flashing it around like you have a gun. do you wanna get shot? no. By all means, I don't need the gun to be intimidating, or to do damage to people. I'm just saying, people see you have a firearm, they aren't going to mess with you. people see you with a firearm and being respectful and responsible, that gives a positive message.

Henry, you're looking to get killed or you're talking smack. You're also probably real young. There are guys out there who don't even know how to be intimidated.

Henry you have no idea of some of the people out there. The two federal prisoners who were escorted by my office this afternoon in double lock shackles with two guards each are that kind. The Mexican saw me checking out his tats. He just looked at me wondering if he knew me from somewhere but he was really just committing my face to memory. Guys like this thrive in the gladiator schools we call prison.

Again, with all required respect, what you're encouraging is responsible for keeping progressive gun laws tied up in the courts for decades. First of all, if some guy wants to grab your old lady's butt, feel free to kick his ass, but do it to protect her, not to fuel your ego. But don't for a single second tell me that you're justified by "intimidating" the guy with your gun. That's bullshit Henry and as WH said, it's going to get you and maybe your girl killed. In the state of Florida, your simple act of intimidation will get you a mandatory 10 years in prison. Add another 5 for having it with you in a bar. Now I don't know what grabbing a cart for Granny has to do with this or allowing someone on lunch to jump ahead of you in line. Feeling you have a right to intimidate someone with your open carried gun is enough in most states, and rightfully so, to have your 2nd Amendment right reviewed and denied in a court of law. Please don't be so flippant and disrespectful over a right that we have all fought long and hard to maintain. That old saying, "One aw shit, ruins a dozen atta boys" applies here. Please consider how you present yourself to the public when representing all of us.

tig, there's nothing more humbling than finding out the hard way that you're not the toughest boot on the block. Of course you have to live long enough to acquire that wisdom.

Henry I think you have some misconceptions regarding the reality of life and that some of your expectations and idea's are flat out wrong, misguided or dangerous. Others I'm sure are excellent; but to believe that because you have a weapon your "intimidating" or even worse, your going to use that weapon to "intimidate someone" is reckless, childish, gives fellow gun owners a bad persona not to mention fuel for the liberals and shows a lack of experience and maturity.

I only hope that you are willing to learn from the knowledge and experience's of others here on the forum so that you can benifit from your experience here and maybe even share a little. Sometimes while gaining, you'll take a beating in the process but you have to just roll with the punches.

How old are you Henry? Experience? It does help knowing because different approaches are needed for different age groups and experience levels. It help in the fact that you may be appoached differently if one is able to understand one better.
