Sorry for the site being slow, its something that we've all been dealing with as of late. As far as deleting an account, I'm not sure how that goes, maybe someone else can help you out. However you can, if you want, go into your profile to "your subscriptions" and chose not to be notified anymore. Sorry for your troubles, we really do have some knowledgeable people around here.
