Scope for winchester 30-30

I have an old Model 94 Winchester 30-30. What would be a good scope for this. Hunting in Alabama wooded areas.

A low power scope is your best bet. I have an inexpensive Bushnell 3-9x that I never turn past 3x. The 30-30 round is really insufficient past 150yds. so any more magnification is unneccessary. I hunt in wooded areas of CT and most shots are well within 100 so I use the open sights unless Im planning on sitting in a blind or stand.

I like to wallk around which limits my success but I prefer it to sitting in one place half the day.

No real need to overspend since this gun is not meant to be shot long range.

If your Wnichester is pre 1964 dont modify it for a scope as it will greatly reduce its value.
