The site is getting crazy!

What kind of information are you hearing from your local news outlets, LEA's, etc., on the latest moves on our 2A rights?

So far here in Florida, we're hovering at a fairly steady level. We're fortunate here to have a majority 2A supportive government. A Republican Governor is one of our best defenses right now. There are a few Democratic supporters but overall I think they're generally anti gun.

I'm also sickend by the recent surge in shootings around the country. What is wrong with these idiots? The Vietnamese guy in New York even had a concealed carry permit! That is a blow to all law abiding permit holders across the nation. What I don't understand is why, all of a sudden, are we experiencing shootings all across the country, one after another? All at the same time our new Attorney General, Holt, is gearing up to trash our 2A rights! It wouldn't be right to point fingers at the anti gun establishment, when they're right in the middle of their frontal assault on 2A rights, would it? I feel like they started a fire and then began to pour gas on it. What better way to falsely emphasize an ignorant principle? I personally don't put anything past them to drive their point home. I don't want to consider or even dream of our government resorting to such evil tactics, but never before have I seen one shooting after another every single day! Something just doesn't seem right, even when things are at their worst do you see such an explosion in this type of violence in America. It all seems too convenient for the anti gunners. Are we entering a Terminator environment? I shudder to think. Keep your ears open for the distinct sound of Jack Boots coming down your street.

Tell You what I think; I think Obama & the extreme left have made Americans mad enough that We might be getting stronger than ever! If the Dem's want to keep all their newly acquired seats they better watch their agenda!

As far as these recent shootings are concerned; I believe the media creates these copy-cats by making them hero's in the eyes of other sick people with the glorified coverage. It's all about the ratings and agenda. There probably is no limit to what the commies will do to gain support; I vaguely remember a story about anti-gunnies going to a gun show and loading a bunch of firearms.

Ironically, these stories show the importance of why We need to be armed, since it could be one of Us one day encountering a maniac in a restaurant or shopping center, and a .45 in hand will be of much more use than a f-ing cell phone!

The NRA and like organizations NEED to use this tidal wave of support to attack and repeal more useless gun laws! The time has come to bulldoze the treasonous bastards!

I totally agree. The media is flooding the airways with gun crime stories. It's like they are trying to brainwash their viewers. Big Brother wants you to give up your liberties out of fear. I might be a simple country boy but I have read a few history books and I ain't buying into their fear mongering.

People who want to preserve thier civil rights and liberties need to right their elected officials. Be polite, civil and courteous. You don't want to be stereotyped as a "Nut".

But remind them of what our founding fathers were thinking about when they added the ammendments to the constitution.

It's not about gun control. It's about liberty.

It's not just the gun crime stories that fuel these incidents, it's the overall tone of the news in general. All the stories about how horrible everything is eventually perception becomes reality.

Now the leftist's want to force their "Fairness Doctrine" on all of America's citizens. They can't defend themselves against the truth that our Conservative Media Force is spreading across America. So the liberal way as always, is to outlaw it, tax it and deny American's the right to choose! Piss on what American citizens want, just outlaw it so the socialists don't have to answer to the truth!

We had several Tea Parties here in our area and what a day that was for all of America! I think we're starting to chip away at the armor the liberal pukes have been hiding behind for so long. It's obvious that partisanship is meaning less and less when the far left blatantly tramples the rights, desires and opinions of their own party. It's an obvious show of outright disrespect for every American and these Tea Parties are just the beginning of escalating discontent with the status quo.

My Father has been a lifelong Democrat and this was the first time in his voting life that he didn't vote for the Democratic candidate. He felt guilty that he had voted for an opposing party and stressed on his decision for quite some time. I too was a Democrat, former Union Vice President and supporter of the Party of the People! Over a decade ago, I saw the line in the sand shifting from left and right, to a distinct leftist direction. That was back in the Clinton era and it didn't take a rocket scientist to see exactly what the liberals were attempting to do. That was when I decided that the partisan ideal was falling apart. Democrats, Republicans, Liberals and Conservative aren't the same anymore. Instead of one representing another, they are now four separate entities, with their own agenda's. I'd like to think that Conservatives and Republicans are still on the side of the people, where the Liberals and Dems, especially the Democrats, are in it totally for themselves. The class of people that support the current wave of Democratic whitewashing, fall under my definition of socialists. It seems like the Clintonians and the Democrat Imposters have made a mockery of a system that used to actually work for the betterment of society in general. Now that they're in charge of everything from the Whitehouse to what brand of toilet paper end up in government buildings. the only thing the "People and Conservatives" can do is hope there's a Democrat left in office that is as sick of the new administration as the rest of us.

Tell me if I'm wrong, but I think this is what they meant when they said "Don't open Pandora's Box". The liberals decided that they knew how to deceive the American public and it started unashamedly with the Clinton administration. They saw a firestorm coming with the "Whitewater Scandal" and they handled that behind closed doors. The people they couldn't shut up or prevent from testifying, strangely ended up DEAD. How convenient! They kept chipping away at our rights throughout the Bush years and through bullshit media attacks and outright lies they got what they wanted, the presidency. Now we're witnessing what amounts to a budding revolution against the lies we've been fed for years.

When our AG Holt opened his pie hole and announced his intention of reinstating the assault weapons ban, he was told by the Queen of the Hill, Pelosi, to shut up. The timing wasn't right to go after that issue yet. I firmly believe that those wannabe dictators realize that they're right on the verge of biting off more than they can chew and have suddenly started choking with a mouth full of their own BS. That's a bummer because I figured they were too stupid to realize their storm trooper tactics wouldn't work. Especially with the blazing frontal attack! That's when Holt opened his mouth and said something before he had authorization to do so. It's sad that our US Attorney General, the head LEO in the country, is nothing but a puppet on a string. How pathetic is that?

If we don't support the movement to stop this expansion of government and return the rights to the people and state governments, we're in trouble. If the Socialists take over, people like us will end up in a gulag somewhere in the mountains of northern Kalifornia, or stuck on some island in the Alaskan Aluetian chain. God bless America and God bless the original intent of our Founding Fathers and the US Constitution.

Yeah.....too quite.....makes the hair on my neck stand up. Of course I could ask all those guys who are customizing those Smith & Wesson Sigmas why they are putting $400 worth of gun smithing on a $300 pistol. But I don't have to ask. It's what Americans do. Like up-armouring HumVees and Sherman tanks. American enginuity!

It's difficult when there's only a couple of people participating. We don't have the interest anymore and I have to blame the Webmaster for it. Nothing works like it should now and without the notification process members have to make the extra effort to find out what, if anything, has been posted on their questions. The convenience is gone and because of that so is member interest.

I guess that's always an option, lol! I just got my tail back where it belongs and it feels much better that way...

It would be great if we could come up with some kind of raffle or drawing. It might spark some new interest. If we could get AF on the same page it would sure help turn things around. I have to add that getting him involved in anything around here carries a great big "MAYBE" with it!
