best gun scene in a movie?

Postby jdeangelis99 » Thu Jun 14, 2007 2:16 pm

I was trying to think of the best scenes in movies that had good shoot outs or gun related topics?? The best scene I could think of is the movie Heat when they get busted robbing that bank and have to shoot their way out

That was definately one of the top five. I also appreciated how realistic the aftermath was and the loud sound of the gunshots being echoed off the buildings in LA. Check out "The way of the Gun" and "Dead man walking" also.

i think the best shoot-out was in scarface when they attack his manson and he comes out with a m4 w/ a granade launcher.

maybe not in that magnitude but some people on pcp can take numerous hits to the head and center mass without stopping till their heart does. Unbelieveable but true. Pretty scary stuff

I can see taking multiple hits but I can't see taking multiple shots to the head.. Even thu the heart stops once the brain is fully dead your dead.. I agree thu about center mass just look at those crazy nut jobs in North Hollywood..They took muscle relaxers and were staying strong even thu they had body armor some shots did hit them

Are you all too young to remember the "Dirty Harry" movies? Harry and his S&W 29 .44 Magnum working as a Homicide Detective for the San Francisco PD. Harry was played by Clint Eastwood. Some of the best Cop movies ever made!! "Go ahead, make my day"....

The gunfight at the end of Open Range ( K.Costner/R.Duvall) was a good one too, for all the western fans.

John Travolta ,the interior scene, in a car, with a dude they had just kidnapped. The film,"Pulp Fiction",I believe.Anyhoo, the gents, involved in an animated conversation...Y'know, over expression wit' th'hands,BOOM!Off goes th' Desert Eagle,Big mess! In boot camp, D.I.would rip off yer head, climb down your neck,an' jump directly in your shit for pointing your weapon at any thing 'cept the sky, target,or the enemy.I love War films, when the G.I.s' are workin' around the O.A. on patrol, practically ramming their rifles muzzles into each other. Aieeee, where's the Directors' Military Advisors?!?
