Th' docs prognosis

is quite positive...

and guns' got about 60%

of tail-wag back...

'at's about 40% mor'n

I have...

Just have a whole helluva

lot of rehab work to do with

his legs...

This is the good news we were praying for Moose! You don't know how happy it makes me to hear that Gunny is getting some of his spark back! Now we need more info on the old bag that hurt our little buddy...

Don't know how I missed this thread. Just now found it.

Maybe better this way as I have 2 'best-friends' myself.

One is sitting at my feet right now and the other one just got hosed down due to the heat.

I lost 2 to old age in the past 9 years and one to a spine injury of unknown cause at 2.5 yrs old [had to carry him out to do his business for about 3 weeks, but he got worse & just didn't wake up one day. Those 3 plus the 2 that I have now, were all cast-aways... rescued 'em all from the pound.

support and the prayers...

Gunny's snoozin' right now,

and he's starting to get around-

though the doc sez not too

much... the healing still requires

a minimum of 3 months of

refraining from too much movement...

as awkward as it is for him...

... he stopped 'leaking'

and is getting his bladder-control

back...

Haven't seen the hag around...

probably off pullin' the

scam somewhere else...

Thanks Moose! I was getting ready to knock and see how he's been feeling. Is there any movement with his hind legs? You mentioned he was wagging his tail poorly but didn't mention his legs. I've got a prayer chain going for him and your family. I know he's in good hands!

I've been working the hind legs

every day and just today he

got up and attempted to run...

very awkwardly, however,

his strength in them has been

increasing the last couple of

days... doc sez it will take time-

3 to 6 months as the injurys'

prognosis requires him to remain

somewhat inactive.

Which he doesn't like...

Me either...

Yet, over all it is looking better, as

he's getting his old self back...

Way, way-yy better than

before...

Amen Brother! I love it when a prayer is answered... Those innocent little souls simply don't deserve the harm that so many people have no hesitation to impart on them. That to me is when I have no regret as I take the "gloves" off! If they make the decision to proceed with their harmful plan, don't expect me to have much concern for their welfare either. Payback's a bitch...
