Henry, that's the only remark I made about airlines in this thread and it was about a bomber, not an airline. What exactly are you referring to? When did this conversation become one about my position on the 9-11 attacks and my alleged bashing of airlines and agencies? Please direct me to the post during this discussion where I have found fault with our commercial airline industry and/or federal agencies, other than the POTUS and his goon squad? Do tell! I'm very versed on that awful day in American history. Are you implying something I'm unaware of? Please share that with me, would you? You've really got my attention now. I'll be up for awhile...

Who are you trying to bullshit jc? You say Obama actually expanded gun rights? What a load of crap. Newsflash here lib. Obama didn't do squat. Fear is what grips us; it can mobilize an entire country for war. Do you ever wonder why the major news companies say "It is been expected that a terrorist attack may occur within the next two weeks." Just how do they know that it "may occur"? and if they know that? I think they should know WHERE AND WHEN and how to STOP it. The FBI can track someone within our country in a few hours. the CIA is just as capable, if they have the right sources. the question is WHY...



Okay, so if you don't know about the procedures in flying airplanes i'll try my best to explain. when a pilot is flying, he is just a touch away from communicating with the air traffic controllers (so basically they are in constant communication)... The air traffic controllers constantly monitor every flight that is in the air. Every commercial airline has a map to the cordinates they are going to fly. if the plane deviates away from the path within a very small amount, radio contact is attempted, if it is not, it is ASSUMED the plane has been hi jacked and F16's are sent up and reach the plane within MINUTES. usually this never happens and radio contact is reached and the plane is back on track. But, if it does happen, sending the F16's is STANDARD procedure - no questions asked, it is supposed to happen. Now, since the plane is unresponsive, the F16's tilt their wings in a certain way which says "follow me". if this is not followed, the planes drop back and IMMEDIATELY shoot down the plane.



So answer me this, why did the planes, which can fly from southern Indiana, to Terra Haute Indiana (about a 4 hour drive), in about 20 minutes, not reach the planes that were "Hi-jacked"?? It takes an average of 3 minutes to reach a "bogey" plane. and why in the world were the planes called from a farther, illogical base, than the logical, closer base?

WHY...



Now, were just going to fast forward some... Most likely everyone has seen the "pancaking" of a building. first the top goes down, the next section, Blah blah blah. It goes down all nice and fancy in the utmost fashion.

Now the official report of the Trade centers was that the steel melted. If you have knowledge of chemistry you'll be thinking right away "yeah right". The plane would have to burn for DAYS for the steel to melt. (I'm sorry I don't know the exact figure of the heat of the fire at this time.)



Before I hit back on this part, I have to add a paragraph. the first tower was hit around 9 am right? so it burned for over an hour and a half (I think). The second tower was hit and only burned for I think 40 minutes or so? I'm not exact on these numbers, so please forgive. But the first tower burned for a much longer time no doubt. Now, tell me how the towers both went down near the same time when they already would have to burn for a VERY long time.



Now lets move into the physics of the problem. apparently the laws of physics completely broke down on 9/11 (not only with the two towers, but at the pentagon as well). the acceleration of gravity is 9.8 m/sec... now since the floors are all supported and built the correct way, we'll assume (since we all know it wasn't a planned demolition ;] ) that the floors gave only a half a second, to a whole second of resistance before giving way. this is what SHOULD have happend, most likely the falling of the building would have been stopped a few floors down once the supports got stronger and stronger, but that didnt happen did it? It would take around 45 to 50 seconds for the building to fall (if the floors gave a 1/2 to 1 second resistance). how fast did the world trade centers fall? about 8 seconds wasn't it? well that is the answer to the equation only if the floors didn't give any resistance - The acceleration of gravities speed. That ONLY happens in a planned demolition situation.



Now, lets ask this question. Why were the support beams in each corner not standing, as it should be since it wasn't a planned demolition? we should see this very thick metal for at least the bottom 10 floors. and lets ask this, why was the metal IMMEDIATELY removed from the scene and recycled? If we just had a terrorist attack on the country, I believe we need the forensic crews in to examine.



Now back to the airplanes. I was awake, watching as the second plane hit the world trade centers. I was watching the LIVE tv broadcast on Fox News. why did the eye witnesses scream "That plane is not american airlines!" or the report from the news reporter that only aired once saying "I saw the plane flying very low, it had no windows, it looked like a military plane" and the news anchor's reply "well if what your saying is true, that could be a cargo plane of some sort, maybe a military plane?"



this is just tip of the ice berg... if you examine through this and want more I'm more than happy to expand.

I understand what your saying Henry, but how did you tie me into this? We weren't even touching on 9-11 at this point. Yet you somehow found enough information to criticize my position on it. You don't even know my position on it, do you?

Well, judging from your posts on this forum, you seem to be a... hm... constitutionist. Possibly having a swing of Republican, and very against the Democratic postion in certain areas. That leads me to assume you really probably haven't had much thought into the area. I may be wrong.



Well, it just kinda seemed like everyone was throwing in tid bits of information about different things. I saw government, airlines, and that's what came to mind. sorry I did change topic there.



I'd say around 90% of people in the US really have no critical thinking skills and would never stop to think "oh what does this do when I push this button?"

They just push the button down and the letter appears on the screen. But yet, they have no idea how it does it. you just plug it in and it works.



Please explain your position. Mine takes up the "conspiracy theory" position.
