Proposed 28th Amendment



This is a great idea. Only need 3/4 of the State Legislatures to pass this to become law...AND IT IS VETO PROOF including no appeal to the Supreme Court.



Proposed 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution:



"Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United States that does not apply equally to the Senators and/or Representatives, and Congress shall make no law that applies to the Senators and/or Representatives that does not apply equally to the citizens of the United States".



Let's get this passed around - Congress has brought this upon themselves!!!

They won't because we now have a ruling class..... of tyrants.

Tig, I love it. Let Congress, et al, live with ObamaCare, average salaries, etc !!



I see the Tea Party movement is having an effect on cleaning house in Congress, already. Myself, I'm taking the time to learn how my Reps & Senators are voting on everything.



We need to do some serious 'house'keeping this Fall and some 'WhiteHouse'keeping in 2012.

This socialist stuff just isn't working for us!!

I like the proposal too...

If Congress opens a Con Con

(Constitutional Convention)

Then any of the Amendments and/or

Articles are open for review and a re-vote

or re-wording as well...

Now, if there were a ground swell

of popularity and congressional support-

the "Second" could be re-worded with

an unmistakeable meaning- loud and clear.

However, if not...

The "Second" would therefore be wide open

for an attack as no other...

...To the very heart!

As much as I'd like to tie-down

these career politicians in congress...

Opening up a Con Con in this present gun-grabbing

political climate,

would be very unwise...
