I just recieved this derringer in on trade(quite reasonable) considering pricing i've seen from $75.00--$2500, it is a type 2, approx between 1887-1911, missing manual ejector w/3 sets grips ty ty ty for any help

Hello and welcome to the forum! What you've got appears to be a Remington, Elliot's Over and Under Derringer. It might have Model 95 or NO. 95 stamped on it, not certain on that. Documents state that the Type Two should have two line markings atop the barrels, makers name and patent data. They were manufactured between 1866-88. In 95% condition it's valued at $1500.00, 90%=$1400.00, 80%=$1250.00, 70%=$1100.00, 60%=$1000.00 etc., the lowest value at 10%=$500.00. It is the second of four types. The Type Four was manufactured by Remington Arms-UMC. Co. Ilion, NY from 1911 forward. I don't have an end date of manufacture.

has been somewhat of a challenge with all the variations that were produced even within say 1887 thru 1911,

The only thing i have found other then REMINGTON ARMS CO. ILION N.Y. Is a sn-6xx, matching #'s barrel & frame under grip left side . I will check agin (magnifying glass) just to be sure. Great site and thanks agin for the help
