When I asked my uncle he said, and I quote,"You don't even want to know." But I have to imagine at least 25,000. It has 196 pounds of recoil, what do you think? It is so worth it though, its my new favorite gun.I know it is an enormous caliber that is part of the reason I chose it, the other reason is that I was just blown away at the sight and thought of a bolt action rifle, I do have a good recoil pad, but that doesnt help much. I am talking to my gunsmith and seeing if he can remove some of the wood of the stock and add about 15 pounds of brass plate, doubling the weight will surely take the mulekicklyness out out it for the most part. But no matter how much it kicks it is still a joy to fire.

Thank you,

Kyle

And that might be on the conservative side, I am not sure. I'm just gonna put a leather sling on it. I took my wood burning kit and wrote, "The Pachyderminator", in caligraphy on the stock. It seemed appropriate.

Thank you, Kyle

On second thought, my beauty is too nice to put a sling on.
