I am looking for an inexpensive shotgun for all around shooting. Water foul, turkey, deer, and sone trap. I know I am all over the board here as with the three guns I am looking at but anyway. The Stoeger, Rem, and Nova are all close in price ( the Nova is a little difficult to find in my area without ordering and waiting). The Stoeger with the Inertia driven system I like. The Rem and Nova take 3 1/2 shells which I like. Stoeger being an autoloader has trap advantages. It basically comes down to the best gun for the little money spent on any of these three. Any comments or suggestions of other guns?

Thanks

Hey GB, I haven't had the opportunity to shoot either the Nova or the Stoeger, so I can't give you an honest impression of them outside of the fact that many hunters/shooters speak highly of them. What I can attest to is the Remington semi's. I shot competition skeet and trap with an 1100 and did very well. It is an excellent shotgun for just about any purpose. They have an updated model of the 1100 now, called the 11-87. It's everything the 1100 was and more. Beefed up suspension and overall toughness. I've got the website here so you can check one out: http://www.remington.com/products/firearms/shotguns/model-11-87/model-11-87-sportsman-field.aspx Good shootin' buddy!!
