I was looking to get a Saiga 12ga before BO finds a way to stop their import, but then I found the Mossberg 930SX 7+1 auto-loader w/ ghost ring & over-size bolt grip ($569.)

The tube mag seems way more practical than the Saiga's 10-12 round banana mags and the 20 round drum mags just seem unmanageable, to me.

Of course I wanted both, but had to choose... as usual.

Too bad the OD Cerakote pics aren't available anymore... prob saved me some $.

I put a 6 shell sidesaddle on my Moss 500A yesterday. I got it a few years ago (2008?) because I liked the 8+1 capacity woth the 20 inch bbl. I learned it will take seven 3 inch mag, 00Bock shells + one 2 3/4 " shell in the tube + 1 in the chamber + 6 in the side saddle (it is all synthetic, so no cutting and wood away.

I put a pistol grip on it & put the standard stock away. I'd prefer an adjustable stock with no rubber recoil pad to catch on my clothing.... maybe someday. Mounted a 120 lumen flashlight on it, too.

It will make a very good grab if something goes south and needs checking-out, day or night.

I remember seeing it at the LGS for $234. on it... no way I could leave it there.

Guys,

I know it has been a while since I posted here and I realize this thread is over a year old. However, I wanted to take the time to update this thread. I was able to find a mesa tactical leo stock with enidine hydraulic recoil buffer for 150.00 so I bought it. The reason it was so cheap is because the adapter itself that attaches to the receiver was cracked. I simply contacted mesa tactical. They said they had an unconditional no questions asked lifetime warranty on their products no matter if first owner or 900th owner of the product. Thus, they sent me a brand new adapter free of charge. How is that for customer service? This stock is the bees knees. Hardly any recoil using regular buckshot loads and no recoil at all using low recoil law enforcement loads. The limbsaver snap on butt pad helps alot also.

Here are some updated pics.
