I stick to standard pressure loads in mine, it just seems to shoot better. That aside, my feelings are that if you feel you need +P or +P+, then you need a bigger gun. That is just my opinion, anyone else have any experience with +P in this firearm?

Thanks twodogz. My guy who does reloads for us said he could load down slightly a handful of hollow points I could use for HD so I may do that. I asked Dee in customer service at Charter arms re +P's and she said all she had heard was the short barrel gave it a bit more recoil if using +P or hotter. I may try a few rounds of +P just to see...but the softer loaded hollow points sound OK to me for now.

I purchased the CA 38 blued. I would like to change the grip, I want to put the compact shorter grip on it for concealment. I'm new to revolvers. So what do you say and where is the best place to purchase the grip? Thanks CA fans.
