I cant say enough about this revolver. Ive used this one for a couple of years now, and I really enjoy shooting it. I thought, at first, that recoil might be a problem because of its size and weight, but NOT the case. Very fun to shoot. So far I have had NO problems with this gun. I do make sure I clean it, though, after each use. I do have large hands, and might consider getting some longer grips(Hogue) for my pinky, but other than that, it is not a problem to shoot.

Hi I purchased a Smith & Wesson Airweight 442 and love the gun. I have noticed that it shoots to the right about 3 inches from where i aim. I realize this gun has fixed sights but was wondering if there is something that can be done to correct this without manually adjusting for the difference from the aim of sight. I have tried several different kinds of ammo with no luck. It is a great gun and is so concealable. Thanks for any info.

Hi Again, Just an update on the previous messege. I took it to a gunsmith and he basically told me it was the way I was holding onto the revolver. So I guess its operater error. I will have to experiment with this some more. I dont seem to have any problems with my xd 45?

There is nothing that hides and carries like an airweight J frame. I have a 637 and its a great gun.

Really light weight, locks up tight and shoots pretty darn good. The price on these are also nice.

The only downside is the lock - I hate locks on guns....

I just put a deposit down on a 637, I have 2 other S&W wheel guns one 35 years old. I know I wont be disipointed in this revolver.

I have a Model 36 for the wife to carry. Its the all steel/non-Airweight version. Pinned barrel and 38 Special, 5 shot.

Excellent carry weapon that always fires and never fails. VERY reliable and as accurate as can be expected from a snubby. Not a target pistol but an excellent anti-rape device for close range use.

I have added a spring job and smooth S&W Banana wood grips. Great pistol.

Im still waiting for my S&W 38 2, I have three charter 2 revolvers, and have no problem putting 50 rounds in a 4 bull @ 30 feet, thats all I want! My wife took over my 4 smith 38,a long time ago.

I hate this gun, sold it after firing only 50 rounds. I gave the other 50 away instead of shooting them through the gun. The gun has bad recoil and pounds your hand. Might as well get a rubber mallet and hit yourself with it. Then on top of it the gun was inaccurate and slow firing. I bought a Glock 23, and a Berretta Tomcat. Both of these pistols are vastly better superior in every way. I have never looked back, Cheers.
