Colt DA .45

Postby PPP » Sun Dec 17, 2006 12:11 am

I recently came in possesion of this gun that was my Dads. It is at least 50 years old as I remember it as a child. It has the 1/2 moon clips to shoot .45 ACP. It shoots well and is in 90% condition. It has a swivel at the bottom of the grips. The metal insert on the bottom of the grip says:

U.S. Army

Model 1917

It has a No. stamped below that. Any information and value would be appreciated. Thanks!
