I just got my 226-9 back from Sig after recieving the Sig Service Package, all it really needed was new night sights but the full reconditioning was a bonus. It looks great & I cant wait to get to the range to make some noise!

Good Luck

Traded my 92FS stainless for this gun in Stainless with night sights. Threw a set of Sig walnut checkered grips on her. Shoots and looks amazing! Hope the guy that got the Beretta is as happy as I am.

Amazingly accurate, aren't they? I recently added a P239 to my arsenal for easier concealed carry. It is unbelievably accurate, and even the range manager- who is a major Glock fan- had to admit he was impressed.

I was getting alittle concerned with my P226 DAK, until I shot 180 grain flatnose. At 50 feet, it shot better than any of the other grains. What make and grain does everyone else like to use?

115 grain from my X-Five Tac gets me 1.5 inch groups (30 rounds) at 50 feet. Then again thats single action only. DAKs are a little more...double action hahaha

SW-Insured,

Right now I am using Winchester 180gr flat nose. I am using factory loads to build up my brass, so that I might be able to start reloading soon. I will double check that barrel like you mentioned in your post.

I know that its not totally me, because I shot my 45 ACP the same way and I am not having any issues with it. Thanks for the info.

Can anyone give my their advice, I have a choice to make and I would to know what are the pros and cons of Sig 226 vs. H&K USP vs. Glock 21? I am looking for a 40 cal home defense weapon. Thanks
