Is there a big recoil difference between the 226 .40 and the 220 .45?

no not at all in my opinion. both are relatively easy to control in the right hands. stopping power much better in the .45 though

All I can say is that you are one unlucky dude. You have one of the best guns out there, and can't get it to work.

I'd write the President of Sig USA and complain.

All I can say is that you are VERY unlucky. This gun is one of the most reliable built, and you not only got a dud, but are being treated badly.

I'd write to the President of SigArms and tell your story. I'll bet he does not like it at all.

The finish on my Equinox seems to be holding up just perfect. I put a oilcloth wipe on it once every 10 days. Gun is just awesome, shoot extremely well, sights are great and the looks are super.

All I can say is that you are VERY unlucky. First of all, you bought one of the most reliable guns that they make, and you got a dud.

Plus, you had no help from customer service.

I'd write to the President of Sig and complain.

Hey all...quick question. My department is looking into purchasing new weapons and are looking into the P220. My question is, is there an external difference between the P220 and the P220R? I am getting that if we purchase a holster for the P220 it will not fit the P220R. I don't know if the rails have anything to do with it but I don't see how. Thanks in advance.
