You should check into the keltec home site and see what is their manufacturing sugested retail price. Depending of what model within the P11 you bought. The max price there is $390 for the part stainless. The site is www.kel-tec-cnc.com

If you paid 329 for the blued model you are still below SMP. Don't feel bad you got a great gun, I absolutely love mine.

I just bought the P11 at a gunshow in Fond Du Lac WI and paid $200.00 for a new in box. I bought two for that price.

Can anyone tell me... When I try to reassemble the P11 and try to insert the assembly pin, the barrel doesn't go forward enough to insert the pin. All the amount of force doesn't help. I can't figure it out. Can anyone suggest a reason or cure for this?

I found the answer on the site you first gave. I replaced the spring guide recently was a steel one as opposed to the polymer one they provided with the gun. The steel guide rod doesn't flex enough. I may have to go back to the polymer one. Thanks

Jack and Tig, I had the same problem with the metal guide-rod. Had to go back to the poly one (posted 12/03/09).

Someone wrote they have had problems with the 12rd mags. I have not. I bought the mec-gar 12rd mags from the Kel-tec website and they run fine. As for the magazine rattle, I have employed an old Marine Corps trick. We used to tap the M-16 mags on our helmets to fully seat the rounds to the rear of the mag. I have found that tapping the backside of the P11 mag on a flat surface, like a table or counter-top, eliminates the rattle. you have to hit it flat on the surface. The rattle is caused by the rounds not being fully seated to the rear of the mag. This incomplete seating could also cause some of the feeding issued people are having.



Oh yes, in my last post I said the P11 is smaller than a Walther P38. Duh, so is a 155 field howitzer . I meant to say my P22. Still not one hick-up with my latest P11 after about 1000rds.
