jhon324, my life as a free man is far more valuable to me than a few dollars. I don't think anyone here is quite that dumb. I truly appreciate your plight, but international gun sales are not within the expectation of an everyday American. Sorry we can't be of more help.

So jhon324... Do you work for the ATF?

A handgun would just get you in trouble in merry old England.

The best thing you can do is try to get the laws changed so citizens can legally protect themselves.

jhon324, posting questions about blatantly illegal sales is bizarre. Especially for a tiny Beretta. Plently of people get shot in England where guns are illegal, you should find one of those if your really want one. You also probably want something with more power than the Bobcat. There is some part of this story that is missing, you are either a college student doing a research paper on how easy it is to get pistols from the USA or an incredibly ignorant criminal. I think the former and that you are trying to make some point. Good luck and I will sadly continue to watch the UK's violent crimes involving handguns increase every year.

Yes, but it needs to be mentioned that the reason for the ever escalating crime rate is due to the ignorantly dangerous anti gun laws in that criminally insane Parliament! Like the USA, you need to take your government back!

Well stated Tig and Jobpatto. While we may sit and preach to our brothers across the pond, we NEED to stay involved in our own political process to avoid the pitfalls they are experiencing.

Very true markej4801. I actually bumped up my schedule for a couple of my pistols because I was worriied about the Bush/Gore election. Thank goodness it turned into a moot point at that time but I am feeling the pressure again to get some kind of assault rifle while I still can. In descending order of likelihood; the FN P90 5.7X28mm is 1st, , Some quality variation of the AR-15 or one of the 'made in America' high-quality versions of the tried-and-true AK-47 are each a ver close second....and much cheper....and because they shoot a much more common round.

Very interesting gun, the P90. I have actually seen a AR15 variant based on it, complete with the p90 magazine. Would not buy it, though, since it's more powerful brother, the 5.56 is so much more common. I'm looking toward the Beretta ARX160, but fear it won't be available any time soon enough. :( I do think the 7.62/win.308 would be a viable round, but it is so much more expensive than the 5.56/.223, that I have a hard time singling it out. If I wanted the greater distance, think I would look more toward a platform that includes the .338 Lapua. Amazing round.

But back to the forum at hand. My Bobcat is working out to be an extremely fun little gun. I hates getting dirty, but if I run a snake through it at the range every so often, it gives me no trouble. Has anyone else seen this to be true? I can usually make it to about 50+ rounds, then it will start gumming up and not wanting to lose its old shell. Once I clean it, though, all goes well. I suspect this might be true of all the mouse guns. Any comments?

markej. The problem with your Bobcat holding onto the spent brass isn't shared with all mouse guns, only the ones that depend on blow-back to extract the case. A bore snake maybe a little over kill for the problem but if it works for you then OK. I always have Q-tips in my range bag. When the cases start sticking in my Bobcat I spray a little CLP or Rem oil on a q-tip and swab out the chamber and then dry it out with the other end of the q-tip. Then it's good for another 10 mags or so of CCI Mini-mags.
