I own a g26 for 10yrs,the one problem i had with my g26.I took it to a friend house so that he can check it out my new gun, we took the clip out and the one bullet out the head. We thought the gun was empty he pulled the trigger and put a hole in his ceiling.

Well Dread,if you shot a hole in your ceiling that means your Glock 26 still had a round in the chamber after removing the magazine. Before you dryfire it,rack that slide and make sure there is no round in the chamber or up the spout as they say.

you cant check that chamber enough! good thing that was a learning experience and nobody was hurt, always pull that slide back before you pull that trigger, if one of my buddies handles the gun Ill check it first and check it after he hands it back, guns just load themselves.

ive owned my glock 26 for about 8 months and have shot countless rounds thru it. ive never had a single malfunction with this gun. even with not cleaning the gun for months and taking it out and firing it. not one problem. i also use the 26 as my concealed carry and trust me its very concealable. i use an Uncle Mikes ankle holster which i found to be the most comfortable ankle holster for me, makes it seem like i dont even have a gun attached to it. im not a fan of pocket holsters or the IWB holsters but i do have a Fobus waist holster which i find pretty good, just gotta break it in more. the holster weighs next to nothing so all you feel is the weight of the gun, which isnt heavy at all. for a 9mm the 26 does have a decent kick to it which is why im glad i went with the 26 instead of the 27 or 36 because that would be way to much kick for the gun size. what can i say im a Glock guy, i go with reliability

I love my glock 26, I also have the 19. No problems with either one. Despite what some say, the 26 does have more recoil then the 19 has. My wife will shoot the 19, but she does not like the recoil on the 26. She likes the 26 when I switch to shoot 22s in it with the Advantage Arms kit. Living in the Peoples Republic of Ilinois, I can't carry a concealed weapon as long as we have a anti gun idiot governor.

A little off subject pakettle but i really feel for you and your situation with the law not allowing you to carry a concealed weapon. Here in Kentucky we actually have fair gun laws which I am very thankful for. Maybe you ought to consider going to a more gun friendly state. I know that is a jurastic thing to do but there are gun friendly states you can go to.

I love my new 26! I've shot over 500 rounds with no problems. I saw a lot of other guns jam at my handgun training class last weekend even a new S&W revolver that jammed because the cylinder wouldn't turn freely. I did see a G 19 jam I think the guy didn't have a good grip on it so the action didn't slide back right.

Can't wait to try out my crimson laser grips I just put on. Anyone have hints on sighting in the laser?

This is a terrific firearm! I have a question though. I purchased a keltec 380 and a pocket holster because of its super small size and comfortable feel especially in this hot, humid summer ohio climate. However, I would feel WAY safer with my Glock on me at all times. I saw that Galco sells pocket holsters for the Glock 26 but I don't want to waste my money if its not feasible for this piece to fit in my pocket with a holster without being too bulky and noticable. Has anyone tried a pocket holster with the Glock 26? Please let me know! Thanks!
