Glock 23 Reviews

This is a great gun and a true pleasure to shoot after replacing the factory barrel (a 1 in 9.84" twist) with a Bar Sto match barrel (with the proper 1 in 16"" twist). The early Glock 23s had a stamped slide "".40 S & W"" and the 1 in 16"" twist. Why they went to the 10 MMs twist is beyond me. Theres a significant difference in accuracy potential. Those Glocks with only ""40"" stamped on the slide will have the 10 mms twist rate.

One of the first pistols I ever bought was a Glock 23C. My next one was a Glock 23. Both were great shooters and depending on the ammo, they could be very snappy. I would recommend that a beginner work their way up to this beast. Bottom line: I like it; as do many people.

Accurate handgun. Easy to conceal, even when wearing light clothing. Disassembly and cleaning is a simple process. Manageable recoil. This is an excellent handgun for anyone.

I bought a used glock 23 and have never had a problem with it. It is fairly light and always accurate. It has NEVER jammed up on me after thousands of rounds fired over the years. I managed to qualify on the range easily enough with the stock sights. Its easy to outfit with a laser sight assist as well. Not too difficult to conceal, but you do have to be a bit creative sometimes to carry it comfortably and completely concealed.

If youre looking for a fantastic handgun, you dont need to look any farther. This gun is light, accurate and very reliable. In four years I have NEVER ever had a jam, misfeed or anything else. I can shoot any brand ammo, mix them up, you name it and this pistol keeps firing. I cant think of anything to tell you but "Buy it"", you wont be disappointed. Ive never owned a semi-auto that is as dependable as this one."

Good gun! My favorite so far! But where do you get cheap ammo for it? 10 bucks a box is a lot.

Wow, has Glock ever heard of Ergonomics? While I didnt purchase a Glock, I do find them quite reliable usually.

I think I will stay with my XD40SC. This Glock just doesnt fit my hands like the Springfield XD does.

I own the 23c, and absolutely love it. Im not real fond of the stock sights, but those will be changed soon enough. Not very pretty, but overall it is probably the best handgun I have owned. Tough as a boot!!
