It wasn't my intention to "insult" anyone with my "Summer's Eve" comment. The comment was supposed to be humorous and not insulting but since it was printed and not spoken, I suppose it is easy to take my comment out of context. @jetsburg and @justben, if I insulted you it was not my intention and I apologize. My qualm is with statements that .40 is too brash and it is difficult to shoot. I agree there is nothing wrong with conversion barrels, in fact, I have a .357 Sig conversion barrel. I went with a Lone Wolf stainless 17# guide rod and both .40 and .357 Sig runs fine with it. The model 19 uses a 17# spring as well. Tig, the Glock specs manual I have indicates the spring is 17#, not 18#.

Justben, I was just looking up the G19 recoil spring and it turns out the G19 and G23 are one in the same. Looks like I'll have to work on my recipe for loading 9MM and make them a bit hotter for this gun. It shoots 9's just fine but they don't eject very far, generally landing at my feet.

Doesn't everyone use Summer's Eve on their pistols? Works better than bore solvent!

I can just see myself at WalMart hanging around the Douche aisle. It was bad enough the 20 minutes I spent trying to find the right color bright orange nail polish to paint my sights with. But I guess I would fit right in at WalMart now that I think about it.

Hey Cbruster, isn't SE actually a true "bore" solvent?
