Glock 33 Reviews

Bought the G33 a few months back and have put around 500 rounds through it. Me and my friends were really surprised at the power of the 357 Sig round. IMO... this is not an entry level gun. The small frame and sheer power are unbelievable and it takes some getting used to. I have grown to love the feel and I am getting much better at 15 yds. Pearce finger grip extensions are a must for larger mits. No regrets with this one.

This is the ultimate concealment weapon. The 357 SIG is more powerful than a .45, and the gun is smaller than most .45s. This is not a weapon for the range because the higher compression causes much higher wear and tear on the weapon. He Glock 33 makes an ideal CCW, powerful and reliable.

Another thing to consider: Since the .357 SIG utilizes a standard 9 mm Luger bullet bottlenecked into a .40 S&W (10 mm) case, feeding problems are almost non-existent. This is because the bullet is channeled through the larger chamber before being seated entirely as the slide goes into full battery.

I just added decal grips to mine. Huge improvement for a $9 investment. I found them at http://www.ajaxgrips.com/ajax/default ..... DO NOT buy the sand grip. It is the same material used on skateboards... the Rubber material is perfect IMO.

I added Decal Grips in Sand to my glock 19. Really improved the grip, but a tad annoying for carry, but not impossible wearing an undershirt. I switched over to the rubber Decal Grips but found they were just to thick, a real pain, so I switched right back to Sand. You cant use a tuckable holster with the sand as it will catch your shirt tail when you go to draw, but I find tuckable style not for me anyway.

I did just the opposite of you on the decal grips. The sand texture was just too uncomfortable for me, so I ran with the rubber. To each his own, but I think we both agree that it is a good use of $10 +-.

Does anybody know if it is possible to put a 9mm conversion barrell into the G33? If so, is there anything else I would have to change?

I Love my Glock 33 but as Larryndallas says it is not for beginners and I would not sell mine for any reason it is my primary CCW weapon with accuracy and power to spare. One suggestion but a pierce magazine extension to add 1 more finger to your grip.I love my G33.

I know that the 33 and the 27 can interchange barrels as long as you also change the clips, but as for the 9mm round, I am not sure about the recoil. You might have to change out the recoil spring. But, when going between .357 sig and .40 rounds all you need to change is the barrel and clip..

jts31888.....All you have to do is change the barrel and the clip to use 9mm. The Glock "factory" recoil spring assembly is identical in the 26, 27 & 33. I looked it up becuase I have a 27 with a factory .357 mag and barrel for the 33, and I have a 9mm conversion barrel and Glock 26 magazine. Mine uses all three calibers just fine. (just use the correct mags)
