I read your posts adequately, and I wanted some confirmation on your terminology. Sorry if that upset you. Why do you ask why you're having trouble with your Glock when you're doing the two things they warn you against? Clean it up and use the proper ammo and your problems will go away. I assumed it was a public facility because you didn't say otherwise. You didn't say it was private either. You also said that indoor ranges don't allow lead ammo due to the dust, yet you said that's what you were using (unjacketed) at that same range. You didn't say it was an outdoor range either. I didn't see you mention Vance WC's more than once, hardly several times. You haven't posted enough to have mentioned anything several times. At least not on this thread. You mentioned unjacketed ammo, but your description of it's use was pretty vague at best. I think you should perhaps read your own posts again and I hope you see the why I asked the questions I did. I didn't come here to start a pissing match, so keep your comments friendly not sarcastic. I've been around long enough to determine when a post needs explaining, that's what a forum is all about. Congrats, you're the first of the New Year!!

I went to the local shop to pick up a G-36 when I first made my consolidation of calibers to .45acp. I've been issued several Glocks during my career and how not to love Glock reliability, durability, accuracy, and ease of maintenance due to having the fewest parts of any semi??

Got to the shop, tried for near 2 hours to make the thing conceal on me. I'm 6'1" & 255 lbs, but the grip always showed/printed.
Great sidearm... maybe I just have odd shape. Can't conceal the long grip of a Kahr, either?

Happy endings with other brands, though.

I traded my Glock 36 for a Glock 19 gen 4. They are so close in size that the holsters are interchangeable. I was never really happy with the Glock 36. It was accurate, reliable (if you didn't limp wrist it) and all but I could never get over the fact that it pinched a blood blister on my pinky every time I shot it. I fixed the problem with a +1 magazine extension but once I shot the Glock 19, I knew I was doing the right thing. I am wondering how the new Springfield single stack 45 shoots and how it compares the the Glock 36.
