Bought this pistol through the classifieds and have about 1000 rounds through it and its never jammed or failed to do what I want. My only complaint is the magazines, which wont load to capacity and the weight of the pistol and the lack of holsters available.

I love this pistol. I have the 9mm Witness Wonder Steel. I just recently bought and put 250 rounds through it in 5 days. I know its not a lot, but I have not had one single problem. I love it. Its smooth and with the right ammo, very little recoil. I first used a full metal jacket round and it scared the crap outta me, but it was smooth. I highly recommend this pistol. Its super easy to break down and clean. Plus with the ability to change the caliber, why buy 5 or 6 different calibers, when you can do it with this one handgun?

I purchased the Compact .45 Witness, and have not experienced a single problem with it stove piping or miss feeding. I would imagine the persons that have experienced problems either are buying cheap ammo or they are not properly cleaning/lubing the weapon. As far as the Witness goes it is comfortable, reliable, and a steal for the money. I also have a Sig Sauer P229 9mm and the compact is ever bit as good, for about half the price.

I bought a wonder finish 10mm Witness 3 weeks ago, have ripped through about 250 rounds, mostly hot ammo. So far flawless function, I have a Wolff spring kit comming to see if I can tame the Excessive ejection of brass. No battering of the gun has shown its head yet, but as I reload I would like to be able to find the brass. We will see if the springs help or not, I wonder if the ambitious ejection is a response to the CZs tendancy to not eject worth a crap... Anyway Great Gun!! Better single action trigger than any of my Paras, Springfields, or Kimbers from the box.

I had a .45 Eyewitness for several years. Excellent handgun. It was reliable -- no malfunctions while I had it, and super-accurate. Fit and finish are top-notch, as you might expect from Tanfoglio. For the price, its an excellent choice if looking for a full-size service pistol.

I bought a 45 cal EAA Witness in a pawn shop in like new condition for $250 . Best deal I ever made on a quality 45. Those not familiar with these guns should take a look. The quality and accuracy will surprise you. Makes a great car gun (legal in Colorado) and I do not have to worry about a much higher value gun being stolen. Shoots a well as my Colt Combat Elite.

Ive had a .40 cal EAA for over 4 years, have shot several hundred rounds through it, and have never had a problem with it. It is an accurate, well made weapon.
