I am getting back into pistol shooting after 15 years. I used to have a Ruger Mk II bull barrel that I sold, but I would like to get a very accurate target pistol (adjustable sights, adjustable trigger, maybe a thumb rest for off hand shooting). Back in the day, High Standard .22s were top of the line, but I heard they went out of business and another company bought the name and are making them again. Does anyone know whether they are still worth the money? I also heard some good things about S&W model 41s and, of course, I know Rugers are pretty good. I am thinking about getting back into target shooting and my Kimber .45 costs me about $50-$80 in targets and ammo everytime I go to the range.
