first time pistol buyer?

hey guys, i'm a new member here at gun directory, although i've been using the site for gun reviews and such for a little while. but i had a quick question. i own a few guns but i have never owned a pistol. so i was wondering if you guys recommended a 22. or a 9mm for my first pistol? and what kind of pistol would you recommend as far as make? i will mostly use the gun for target shooting and maybe some day a little hunting. just wondering what you guys thought. thanks

Hi Ringoak,

If you are just looking for a target/small game pistol, I'd look at the .22s. There are many out there but I'd suggest you start looking at the Browning Buck Mark and the Ruger Mk III. Both are a good value and have tremendous reputations.
