i got this shotgun for my birthday from my wife. love the gun knocks rabbits down all day, but can i shot slugs out of it? She wants to go hunting this year(just passed hunter ed) please help thanks

sure ,just not slugs made for rifled shotgun barrels,smoothbore slugs only........
