I've had nothing but trouble with my 12ga cd. First the o ring then 2 firing pins bending causing it to misfire during spring turkey and now fall turkey. I haven't shot over 300 rounds through it. I'm shooting 3 inch winchester, are they too much for the gun? My rem 870 has had no problems for the last 13 years, guess I start using that again.

What type of shotgun are we talking about? I see "cd", is it a Charles Daly? Regardless, from your explanation, it sure sounds like 3" shells are too much for it.
