Gun Directory

Perhaps someone can give me help with this. I have a Taurus PT38S (chambered in .38 Super) and would like to convert it to shoot 9MM Luger ammo. I know that this particular model was made also in 9MM. Would it be possible to change the barrel to chamber the 9's? Would that be all the modification I would need. I would appreciate any help, since I really like the pistol, but the 38 super ammo is both hard to find locally and quite expensive compared to the 9 MM.
