one word, WALMART. you can't buy .50 A.E. at walmart, but 44magnum is everywhere - plus you can usually buy reloads for it at the ranges!!

Yeah man, Florida is a pretty gun friendly state. They don't sell handguns in our local walmarts, but they do sell ammo, shotguns, and rifles.

Very easy. you have to take a class (2-3 hours) and fill out some paperwork at the end. then you get a "passport" photo taken (any drug store offers this for about $10), then you send in the picture, your money order, the signed/notarized paperwork, and your fingerprints (for the background check) into the state. a month later your permit arrives in the mail. nothing to it. as long as your not a felon, retard, loony-tune, or wife-beater you can have a carry permit down here in FL.

O would reccomend you get a really good revolver untill you master the art of a handgun simply becuase there are no safeties to worry about, and you can build confidence knowing it can't go Bang untill you pull the triger A LONG ways, or pull the hammer back

Glocks- no I meant start with manual. Quads can be squirrely. A newbie can jump on an auto and zoom off without any riding experience, a newbie on a manual is forced to take it slow and learn how to ride. I know it doesn't sound like as much fun but as you well know many people don't have the sense they were born with.

Ahh I get ya, manuals are much more fun anyway, I thought you had it backwards cause anyone could hit the gas in an auto. Let me tell you, when we road, the word "sense" never came into play, just RIPP!!!!!!!!!
