My First Purchase?CZ-75 P-01 9mm and CZ Kadet .22

I want to purchase my first Handgun. Just enjoy shooting dont need handgun for personal protection. Rented a Sig 229 at the range where I received my training....liked it.

Know a .22 is going to me much less expensive to shoot.

Thinking about purchasing a CZ-75 P-01 9mm(little smaller than CZ-75)...then getting the CZ-75 Kadet conversion Kit.

Does that make sense. My feeling is that the .22 are just less serious/less fun...but know the 9mm will be more than 5x as expensive to shoot. Would the choice above give me the best of both worlds. Will the CZ Kadet Conversion Kit work with the small CZ-75 P-01 rather than just a CZ-75.?

I HEAR YOU ABOUT THE PRICE OF AMMO. BUT SOMETIMES YOU HAVE TO PAY A LITTLE MORE TO DO SOMETHING YOU ENJOY. I LOVE GOING TO THE RANGE TOO. I SHOOT 9MM, .380 AND .40 EVERYTIME I GO. I LIMIT MYSELF. I MIGHT GO 3X OR 4X PER MONTH. TO ME ITS WORTH IT. YOU CANT PUT A PRICE ON HAPPINESS.....
