After tryig to report a crooked seller to the Tampa PD. (See Crooked Seller in this forum) They refered me to WWW.IC3.com.... Appearently a branch of the FBI setup for internet fraud. The deal seems to be an online report to the FBI who then refers the report to the local authorities for a "personal visit". We will see.

Do any of you guys know anything about this kind of deal?

How did the seller agree to ship the pistol? If it was via USPS, you can file a complaint with the U.S. Postal Inspection Service for mail fraud.

"U.S. Postal Inspectors investigate any crime in which the U.S. Mail is used to further a scheme--whether it originated in the mail, by telephone, or on the Internet. The use of the U.S. Mail is what makes it mail fraud."
