How to ship my Artillery Luger

Postby focused » Thu Jan 10, 2008 5:09 pm

Considering selling my beautiful 1916 Artillery Luger. Can I ship it directly to the buyer since it is a C&R and I have a license (permit)? Thanks

Just what type of license do you have? To be able to legally ship it yourself as the result of a sale, you'll have to have a FFL in your name. Then unless the buyer has his/her own FFL, you'll be required by Federal law to ship the pistol to another FFL holder. If you don't have your own FFL, you'll need to contact a FFL license holder in St. Pete and set up a transfer agreement with that FFL holder. There is usually a charge around $30 bucks to send and receive a gun shipment/transfer. Hope this helps, let me know if I can offer any additional information.
